FAQ

We don’t charge any fees for the consultation regarding scalp micropigmentation, and such consultation does not obligate you to undergo the treatment.

By all means, such option is available. If you are embarrassed by the presence of others and you feel uncomfortable due to your personal scalp problem, or you are a public person and maintaining the anonymity is vital in your case. In justified circumstances we will do our best to maintain the full anonymity of the client, and in special cases we will also adjust our working hours.

It is difficult to notice the difference between the effect of micropigmentation and natural hair follicles. Although it might be possible from a distance of a few centimetres, in everyday functioning the effect is so natural that cannot be told from the natural one.

There are contraindications, which include the retinal and corneal diseases, cancers, allergic reactions to pigments, scalp diseases, e.g. psoriasis, cutaneous lesions, and epilepsy. Micropigmentation is further contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with unhealed scalp wounds, as well as in cases of some pharmacological treatments, where additional medical consultation and doctor’s approval may be necessary.

Yes, it is entirely safe. The treatment is non-invasive and carried out with high level of hygiene. We use exclusively dedicated pigments and equipment. Needles and adhering elements are disposable.

We offer a wide selection of pigments, but all of them are a shades of grey – up to the black one. In our SMP treatments we use pigments specially designed to this purpose, which contain only black colour and its shades, thus preventing its discolouration in the long-term. The colour fades gradually, and we perform the refreshing treatment after about 2 to 3 years.

In the case of a shaved head technique, the growing hair must be shaved regularly with an electric shaver every 2, maximum every 3 days in order to maintain the aesthetic, uniform effect of short haircut. Razors or devices with blade systems should be avoided, as well as excessive sunbathing (cosmetic products containing UV-filters are necessary) and skin peeling treatments. This is directly related to the exfoliation of the uppermost skin layer, resulting in the reduced durability of pigmentation.

There are no limitations related to age or sex. We perform the SMP treatment so as to adapt it to the age and character of the client. It is intended also for women, most often as density-adding treatment.

The pigment is implanted into epidermis, therefore its is possible to remove it with laser treatment. This means that it is possible to remove the effects of micropigmentation; however, we haven’t got any such request from our clients in our practice.

We strive to respond to the expectation of the clients for whom the treatment is important, but who don’t have sufficient funds at the moment. Based on prior agreement, we provide the possibility to pay in parts – on the day of the first treatment and after 30 days, on the day of touch-up treatment, or, alternatively, to use the MediRaty instalment system.
